Welcome! I am Lyndi, a 40+ year old mom, wife, and dog mom who earned a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science over 20 years ago. Although exercise has been in my life for a long time, I was never consistent with my nutrition. I’ve tried almost every fad diet in order to try and reach the weight on the scale that I was chasing. This changed in 2019 when I decided to change my eating habits for GOOD!
Midlife Mood was created to help women realize it is NOT too late to prioritize health. I want to share how to balance food, fitness, mindfulness and fun. All too often as moms we put ourselves last because we are functioning in survival mode. It doesn’t need to be that way. Especially as our kids get older and need us less, it is easier to find time to invest in living a healthy life. I definitely don’t have it all figured out, but I wanted to create a community where no one is judged and all are supported. Thank you for showing up just as you are. I am glad you’re here!
