More fantasy drawings
1) Dragonpool Castle, a large citadel built atop a jutting outcrop of rock on the Dragonscale Plateau. The castle was originally constructed by dragons, but was soon inhabited by elves after the dragons extirpation from the main continent. The castle is built a top a spring and thus has a constant supply of freshwater, making the castle essentially self sufficient
2) Sedum Strider, a large, long legged even-toed ungulate that inhabits the sedum dominated marshes of the plateau. The sedum that grows in abundance has adapted to exceedingly high moisture levels and waterlogged soils.

Some photos from a Reptile Sanctuary and Aquarium I visited in Crete a few weeks ago. They had an absolutely giant pacu and a rescue blind sea turtle (who I unfortunately didn’t get a good photo of). There was a hermit crab that also looked as though it was wearing a kind of anemone hat.

Some fantasy creature concept art for a possible book series that’ll probably never get written. I drew these around a year ago but never uploaded them.
1) Thorny Warmonger Wyvern:
Habitat: Mountains and remote coasts
Diet: Other wyverns (including other Thorny Warmongers) and smaller animals.
Weight: 8,000-14,000kg (can get up to 20,000kg in exceptional circumstances)
Danger level: Extreme
Lifespan: Currently unknown probably thousands of years
Length: 80-150 feet (average)
Abilities: Thick armour, fire resistance, club tail
Intelligence: Low (by wyvern standards)
2) Mountain Wyvern:
Habitat: Mountainous areas, but will occasionally travel to lowland areas to hunt
Diet: Primarily meat of smaller animals
Weight: 4,000-6,000kg (can reach 20T but very rare)
Danger level: Extremely dangerous, will hold grudges
Lifespan: Exact lifespan unknown, probably thousands of years
Length: 60-100 feet (can get longer)
Abilities: Fire resistance, can learn to breathe fire by eating a combination of chemicals found in certain fruits and minerals.
Intelligence: Extremely intelligent, can hold grudges and will sometimes destroy towns and villages just for the fun of it. Wyverns were partially responsible for the the eradication of dragons and dragon culture.
3) Cockatrice:
Habitat: Dense forests, predominantly in the south of the continent.
Diet: Carrion, smaller animals, livestock, seeds, nuts and berries.
Weight: 100-120kg
Danger level: Medium, extremely dangerous if encountered due to their unpredictability but usually elusive and rarely encountered.
Lifespan: 20-35 years (average)
Abilities: Can spit acid able to dissolve flesh, and sometimes metal, venomous spines which can be dislodged and thrown at enemies.
4) Flitterwing Wyvern:
Habitat: Mountains/hills. Will often nest in colonies inside caverns
Diet: Typically smaller animals but can subdue much larger prey much larger than itself with it’s venomous stinger.
Weight: 100-150kg
Length: 2 metres for a male 4 for a female
Danger level: Unpredictable a creature best avoided
Abilities: A stinger capable of producing paralysing neurotoxins
Top speed: Slow on land reaching a top speed of 10mph, fast and agile in the air capable of reaching 90mph
