Anna Phoebe is a genre-defying, contemporary writer & performer, an award-winning film composer, a record producer and a national broadcaster. Known for her visceral violin-led soundscapes, which are heavily influenced by the natural world, Anna translates emotion into cinematic sonic experiences. Her writing connects ancient musical traditions with cutting-edge electronic textures.
In the last year, Anna sold out her first UK solo tour, performed for BBC Radio 3 with Jools Holland and gave a standout hybrid DJ and live collaboration with DJ Mary Anne Hobbs at the BBC 6 Music Festival which was broadcast live and televised on BBC iPlayer.
2025 sees solo & collaborative performances at the ICA (23 May), Singing with Nightingales (24 May), Glastonbury Festival (23-25 June), Deal Festival (3 July), Manchester International Festival (15 July), Hidden Notes (20 Sept) plus another solo tour in November & December 2025. Anna is the co-host of BBC Radio 4’s Add To Playlist.
