Living in another country on the other side of the world, and hours later I pick up your phone to see a tsunami of texts like this from my children. Ohhh the horror. Most parents would think the worse, buuuuut…..
Bobbi, my daughter, will be graduating with her Master’s in May and starting law school right after Attttttt…THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN LAW SCHOOL!
She was dying to tell me the amazing news. I was busy taking a social media detox, and I had my phone in another room while I moved puzzle pieces around on my kitchen table. lol
Talk about proud. Lord. I am sooooo happy for her. I was screaming and smiling from ear to ear. She did that. She did it. Yaaaaasz’ah. Go Bobbi!!!

Soooooo a thing happened to me this weekend while living abroad. I have NEVER lost a cell phone or bank cards before, sooooo I am the lucky WINNER!!!!
As a result, I’ve lost over 3 months of videos and photos because my phone was not being backed up automatically. Indeed, that’s a bummer, so I’m back to using my old, cracked phone. I will NOT be dropping another $1200 for a new phone for a while. I’d rather use that money to bring my girls to Armenia this summer. I even asked Clinton if he’d like to visit as well.
Albeit this experience has been an inconvenience, but IT IS not the end of the world. I’m thankful I have my health and my wealth of JOY!!! ALL will be replaced in due time. Why? Because material things can be replaced.
Remember, it is not the problem that matters, it’s how you handle the problem that makes all the difference in the world. I refuse to lose my cool over spilled milk. I just have to figure out a way to clean it up the best way I know how.
I’ll miss sharing so many memories with you; now, I’ll need to create new ones. Boop!
Keep your head up. Something will work out. Tomorrow is a new day for a new beginning.
