I was really excited about this, but $100 shipped is unacceptable. A few months ago we got the 89 bundle for $75, including a figure. I am canceling most (not all) of my preorders and won’t be doing any more McF reviews until they can pull their heads out of their asses. We’ll talk more about this soon.

PSA: I’ve seen many confused by the eyes on the new Zsasz figure. It’s based on his first appearance in the storyline “The Last Arkham” by Alan Grant & Norm Breyfogle from the Shadow of the Bat series. The Last Arkham is a great story and I highly recommend it.
I’ve never seen it confirmed anywhere, but I always suspected that Zsasz was inspired by the character Perry from Elektra: Assassin by Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz. If you’ve never read Elektra: Assassin, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will never see another comic that looks like it, and it feels like a companion piece to Dark Knight Returns, which Miller was working on around the same time.
