The finished Mad Ma Mahaffy and Brainbloom for Judge Dredd. This character appeared in Prog 18 of 2000 AD, so I have no real reason for her being in Sector 102. Maybe another Granny was inspired?

Judge Dredd the clone of the "Father of Justice" Eustace T. Fargo, is the most feared, respected, and widely known of all the Judges. You all know who he is so no need to waste time discussing him. Enjoy!
APE is a mutant member of the raiding gang known as the "Red Leg Raiders." They are located within the Cursed Earth on the outskirts of Milwaukee. APE is marked by his unique mutation of ape-like features. This trait offered no genuine assistance.
Ape inspires fear in his fellow mutants and makes for a great enforcer within the gang.
Another 1980s model, scale-wise, looks a little small next to the Warlord figures, but they have so much personality! Will use this figure as a normal mutant.

Background: Wendy Go, like many of the citizens from Dan Abnett Block, was full-time unemployed. Her daily trip to the Happy Noodle to enjoy the Lunch Munce Special was the only thing keeping her sane. That all changed one day when she found out it had been removed because it contained authentic egg noodles. This was enough for Wendy Go to flip over the edge. Finally, the pressures of life in the City of the Future proved too much for her, and Wendy Go flipped into a psychosis where everyone else was now the enemy. Wendy Go managed to kill three employees of Happy Noodle, two juves and a Fattie before being subdued by Judge Prince, who was first on to the scene—currently serving time in a psycho cube.
Novar is a Cursed Earth mutant child with powerful psychic abilities, giving him future sight and telekinesis.
Personality
Novar is a strange child with an empathic nature. He despises evil and has a very black-and-white view of humanity.
History
Novar was a child born with incredible psychic abilities. Shortly after he was born, his father died, and his crazed mother raised him.
In his early teens, he came across Judge Dredd and his group during the early stages of their trek across the Cursed Earth towards Mega-City Two, shortly after their run-in with Brother Morgan and his Mutant Brotherhood. Spikes Harvey Rotten found him by his home making a tree sculpture from scrap metal not long after the Mutant Brotherhood attack from all sides. After one of Judge Dredd's fellow Judges was killed, Novar felt great emotion and using his powers, he blew apart the shards of the metal tree he made and forced the shards to stab many of the Brotherhood members and stabbed Morgar with his knife. Shortly after Judge Dredd and the others say goodbye to Novar, the child hints that they may meet again one day.
Dusting a few figures, I decided to take a photo of these two versions of Orlock for a blog post. You will see these characters appear again here as I will roll up some stats for the RPG, but until then, enjoy.
I hope you all have a great weekend.
Did I just paint an ABC Warrior robot in X-Men sentinel colours? Behind the scenes image of Fridays video which I am currently recording.
Welcome to my little corner of hobby fun. I'm your basic part-time hobbyist. I jump between projects, some never finish, and I try to blog/video as much as possible. I enjoy the following things:
Comics: I love comics, mainly 2000 AD, mainly Judge Dredd.
Wargames: Traditionally Warhammer 40,000 with my Iyanden Craftworlders, Executioners Space Marines, Necrons & Necromunda House Delaque. Now branching out into Warlord Games with their 2000 AD games: Strontium Dog, Judge Dredd and Slaine Lines.
Books & Audiobooks: Sci-fi all the way. Black Library and the GW stories will be a big part of this, alongside Xenomorph aliens and predators, with a bit of Discworld and Sharpe.
Video Games: Aliens Isolation, Skyrim, Space Marine, Apex Legends & Blood Bowl. I play many games but try to stick to one type at a time.
I hope you find something you enjoy, and I would love to chat with you. Please drop a comment and give me subscribe and let's get the conversation started.
