Just recieved two Vego dragon fruit planters, and I'm going to use them for the two dragon fruit cuttings I recieved from ‪@GraftingDragonFruit‬ . One of the cuttings is called grape pop and the other one is wild berry skittles. I hope I can enjoy the fruit either next year or the year after. You guys can expect a video of my process coming soon.

Our family loves eating peanuts. And because I made a vow to try to grow what we eat, I had to give peanuts a try. So we purchased a bag of organic peanuts, removed the shells and placed them into our garden bed. Several months later we get lots of peanuts. I can't believe how easy they are to grow. Everyone should give it a try. It's super fun.

These bananas we harvested last week are already starting to get ripe. We tasted one of them and it's almost too perfection. They say the flavor is similar to ice cream banana. But in my opinion they taste similar too a kiwi. These are my favorite bananas, and I've never seen them sold at a store. We are lucky to be growing so many. There are four more bunches of bananas to harvest this year. We are very blessed. Thank you God. #bananas #gardening #homestead

Just met Richard from ‪@GraftingDragonFruit‬. He was very friendly and approachable, and a wealth of knowledge about dragon fruit. We bought the grape pop and his own variety called wild berry skittles. A local farm was also there to sell their delicious dragon fruit and offer free samples. When I got home I immediately bought some ‪@vego_garden‬ bins to transplant my new cuttings. Can't wait to taste these. #garden #gardening #dragonfruit

This is our first year getting an actual pineapple fruit to grow. We started off with a top from the grocery store and patiently waited for 3 years and it's finally here. The great part of getting a fruiting pineapple is the pups that it gives off. Growing a pineapple from a pup opposed to the top allows us to get fruit in half the time. Hopefully our harvest starts multiplying like crazy, because I love pineapples. There's so much you can do with it. Anyone else here growing these babies? #pineapple #garden #gardening

Gophers are one of the worst garden pests. We literally had an entire patch of bananas killed off by them. They tried to do the same thing with my sugar cane but I took care of them using the best trap I've ever used. That trap is the gopher hawk, and as you can see the trap has been triggered. I would show the results but it's kind of gruesome. Gophers don't stand a chance in my garden. #garden #gardening #trap

We just finished harvesting these nam wah bananas and they are so big. Usually they are 75% of the size of these. The soil must have been extremely fertile. They are still green, but I heard if they are past 120 days it should be good. These have been around since at least last March, and I couldn't wait any longer. They will just have to ripen off the tree. Hope it tastes good. I'll report in a few weeks or a month. #backyardgarden #bananas #gardening

I wonder if it's too late to pollinate this dragon fruit flower. The crazy thing is that I didn't even expect it. It's like it bloomed out of nowhere. Just in case the bees didn't get to it, I grabbed a qtip and just went to town. We'll see if it produces any fruit. #dragonfruit #gardening #garden

The luffa are finally coming in. I almost thought I failed growing them this year. Just in case we don't get more I'm going to save these one for seed. Anyone else having poor results on their luffa this year? #garden #luffa #zone10b
