This is my first post here. Thank you all for checking out my music!
I wanted to let you know about a special livestream today, Thursday June 11th, at 3pm New York time. I'll be playing duo with the great Puerto Rican jazz saxophonist, composer, and MacArthur winner Miguel Zenon. With the help of cutting-edge software called Jacktrip, we'll be playing together live even though we're physically separated by several miles. And yes, it really works. The latency is so low that we're able to make real music together using this approach, just as if we were in a recording studio.
We'll be playing original compositions by the two of us, and taking requests from you for jazz standards, too. Tickets are $5 and can be found here: dantepfer.com/tix
