Took a gamble trade and it didn't work out. I shouldn't have gone ALL-IN on that trade. You win some you lose some....

Hard to trade when the kid is home :-)

But I shouldn't blame the little guy lol

I was too aggressive AND shouldn't play at the opening. Got emotional again and maxing out my trades over and over.

Have to walk away and cool down

Got more calm later after 10AM and was able to turn green again.

Maybe I should just focus on trading after 10AM instead. I seem to be better at this hour.

Was able to trade but not able to stream today. Probably the same for tomorrow or maybe the whole week as well.

Up $56 only. Over traded today.

I was testing the FVG and OB strategies today as well. I think it is a strategy meant for swing trading and not for my style of trading which is fast scalping. My trades seem to be too late or stopped out every times. Usually with candlesticks pattern (higher timeframes), ORB and High/Low breakout, etc... I would get on a trade on the 2nd leg. But, with FVG you would have to wait after the 3rd legs to finished forming then wait for the pullback to the gap area before placing an order.

Anyway, today was very choppy.

Was able to gain some back using my original strategy :-)

I was trying out the FVG strategy today, but the price movement was just too choppy. I got stopped out a few times then got too emotional because of it. e.g. maxing my trade sizes, revenge trading,etc...

Maybe I am analyzing the Fair Value Gap and Order Block incorrectly. I will need to review them later so I can try again tomorrow.

Updated: Actually, after 11AM FVG seems better.
I am back to green for the day :-)

Walked away to get some fresh air...and came back for the ORB plan.

From RED $140 to Green $100... yeah...

Having to wait (e.g. 15m) and not trading is something I need to learn.
