Itās hard to put into words what Brian Wilsonās music has meant to me over the years. My first listen to Pet Sounds was the closest thing I can describe to having a spiritual experience.
I felt so lucky seeing him and his band perform the album live in 2016.
I knew even then that I was witnessing a once in a century genius, perhaps for the final time.
Itās not just that he composed incredible melodies, or arranged beautiful harmonies. Itās the alchemy of the entire SOUND.
That special link between us mortals and the divineā¦ Brian Wilson had access to that.
There will never be anyone like him again. He was a giant. May his music live on eternally.

The first is an interview with top Beach Boys historian David Leaf about his new book exploring the history of Brian Wilson's masterpiece album that took 37 years to complete, 'SMiLE'.
The second is my review essay on the Bob Dylan biopic 'A Complete Unknown'.

Iām releasing a video tomorrow! Itās not on Ringo, Midas Man, or A Complete Unknown but donāt worryā¦ I can confirm those are coming soon!
Tomorrowās video is music-related video but not in the way you might expect from me. Iāve worked very hard on it and am excited for people to watch it. Itās about an hour-long and fairly topical (which is why I had to post it before those other videos).
Anyway, I know youāll be demanding Ringo in the comments regardless but hear me now when I say that Ringo is coming. Please be patient. And in the meantime, enjoy tomorrowās video!

Has it really been FOUR MONTHS since I last uploaded a video?!?
Yes it has, but the good news is that I have a new video out in a couple of days. It's about 25 minutes in length but don't worry, it's definitely not all I've been spending the last four months on...
I've actually been working on the biggest video I've ever made for my channel. It's still not ready yet and may not be until January (I'll release another video before then as well).
Just wanted to give you a little channel update and let you know that I've been working hard to make some stuff I think you'll really like.
