Five years ago today Rossella and I got married in the most beautiful church we have ever seen. 🌅 We were joined by our family and friends, some of whom had traveled thousands of miles to be there with us. 🙏We tied the knot 10 years to the day after we met, which itself was a one-in-a-million chance encounter, in a place we were both visiting for one night only... Some things are meant to be - fortunately, the universe has a way of making them happen! Happy anniversary amore mio! ♥️

Hello!!! 👋 Things have been quiet on our channel recently for a reason: today is day 21 of our self-isolation in quarantined Italy...
To cut a long story short I (Chris) have been taking this threat very seriously since January and have been acting accordingly. Britaly is on the hard in Belgium, and is blocked in by dozens of other boats in winter storage, so that option was off the table from the start. In February we decided to self-isolate - before the extreme lockdown was put in place across Italy - and as a result we are living in a relatively isolated house in a village in the mountains in Italy with Rossella's extended family.
Emma has two young cousins here, so she is very happy and is oblivious to all of the things that are happening in the towns and cities nearby. The situation is very serious and we are in a relatively good position now only because of my research, planning and action, followed by the action of Rossella's entire family (after things started to deteriorate and they started to understand that my warnings and predictions were correct).
I have done a LOT of research into this situation, and have a lot of practical solutions to face this threat. If you are concerned about you and your family, and you want to draw from my experience in this field (I received training in Biological warfare, as well as many other currently essential skills in the armed forces, and I have done hundreds of hours of research on the threat which I am purposefully not mentioning by name in this post) then get in touch via the email address on our about page and we can quickly and easily schedule a one-to-one paid videocall where I can give you my advice in person.
This is a sailing channel and will remain so (which is why I'm offering my advice on a one-to-one basis for only those people who actively seek it, rather than starting to make videos about world events). We have decent internet access, and we intend to keep making our sailing videos despite everything, as we believe that our 'normal' videos (which will make no mention of any of the above) will be a welcome respite from the news and current affairs from which we are all struggling to escape at the moment. We hope that these videos will help you look forward to life after this temporary period of disruption and we hope that you will find this helpful in its own right.
The next solo sailing video is online now for our Patrons, and will go live to the world on Saturday, so we hope you will enjoy that. ***At this point we would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to our wonderful Patrons are helping us ride out this storm.
