Fried chicken and beer. A match made in heaven, right? Koreans love the combo so damn much they've dedicated a whole word to it. Pretty much a national pastime, Chimac comes from "Chi", short for "chikin" plus "Mac" from "maekju", Korean for beer.
A trip to South Korean had us head over heels in love with this cultural phenomenal. We were so inspired that back in 2019 we opened Chimac Dublin, in the heart of Dublin city centre. Our menu of korean fried chicken is very much inspired by what we ate in Seoul, but also packed full of bold, fusion flavour an a unique Irish flair.
We've also bottled our sauces and they're available in Ireland, the UK & US. The Chimac sauce range fuses tasty, traditional Korean ingredients with big fusion flavours. Dunk, drizzle, marinade or sizzle, these versatile, convenient sauces transform meals from every-day to exciting!
