This is it, this is my final activity here. By the time you’ve read this, chances are I’ve already logged out for good. A new chapter of my life has begun and I’m excited for what the future will bring.
I wish I could continue NellyTube, I really do, but alas I realize it will be better for my life by starting fresh. I want to have fun with the internet and post what I really want to post.
In all, I don’t hold this account with a bad connotation. Sure, I did when I posted my final video, but I realize what this account should be: a learning experience. To take this account as what not to do in the future.
And I remember when I was excited by it all. That’s why I’ll always keep those play buttons of mine, because I remember how excited I was to reach 100 and let 500 actually stick.
My final wish is that you all don’t hold any gloom and doom towards my departure and instead feel happy that the person you’ve been watching is really going out there to pursue better content plans. That’s what I’m doing.
I hope to see you all at my new channel. Maybe by fate, by magic, or by whatever you will come to my new channel and re-indulge in my content, but better.
Farewell, NellyTube and fans. And thank you.
Disregard everything from the last post. I’m not doing that whole 12-step process thing, as I’m actually starting to feel more comfortable drifting away.
I’m still not fully gone yet, though.
Well quitting’s harder than I thought, so I’ll share with you the process I’m going to take and update this post accordingly.
☑️1. Announce quitting
☑️2. Cease uploading of videos
☑️3. Shut down second channel
☑️4. Cease responding to all comments
☑️5. Gradually stop commenting on videos + replying to comments
6. Cease commenting altogether
7. Disable YouTube notifications
8. Limit YouTube intake
9. Start new anonymous channel
10. Make one last goodbye post on community tab
11. Transfer accounts on websites to other emails or rename them
12. Log out once and for all
I’m redesigning a lot of my old characters.
This one is Lizzie, a huge astronomy nerd. As of this redesign, she actually got promoted to president of the North Glassita Space Association.
tf is this?
what, now i have to scroll all the way down to see my cringy old videos? sheesh. too much effort
If I had a nickel for every time I had to witness a channel die immediately after I subscribed, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but isn’t it weird it happened twice?
