Erik Upshaw has been writing and recording music for 18 years. He released his first instrumental album after the devastating Tsunami hit Thailand in 2004. All proceeds of his release benefited victims of the disaster. Shortly after, Erik released 3 more instrumental projects: "Take Two" in 2005, "Moving On" in 2006, and "Because of Love" in 2008. Then he released his first record with guest vocalists "Hold On To Me EP". Erik's final instrumental record was released in 2013, "Keys & Melodies".
Erik has always dreamed of releasing a record that has included his vocals. Sure enough in 2021, he checked an item off his bucket list with the release of "Coming Home". Erik wrote, recorded, engineered, produced, and sang the entire album.
Erik is currently focused on his instrumental cues and his next goal of sync placement. His passion for music is unmatched to anything else!
