In Uganda, term 2 of academic year 2024 just ended and we got the winners of Rural Great Minds Scholarships in👏🏼😍! A few things noticed:
1. #Competition is getting higher😊: 5 out 8 winners for academic performance have been replaced👏🏼
2. #Confidence and #self-esteem within themselves are growing😍👏🏼: Compared to our very first winners (video link below), these are more used to it and even smile while walking forward. Before, they were shy, could not express themselves freely, and some could just cry after seeing a camera infront of them🤭.

Just got the 18 winners of Rural Great Minds scholarships (RGMs) from two schools😍! At the beginning of this year, we added the 2nd school (which is my former primary school) to be among the beneficiaries of RMGs.
From Cohort 5 of school 1, we got three new faces, indicating that competition for these awards is getting higher👏🏼🤭. I was told that Noeline, who was best for 3 consecutive terms (watch her here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x89Oc..., cried so much when she got kicked out this term. I understood her pain😞, but I also laughed because I believe it is good for children to be aware that defeat exists at any stage of life, so they need to learn how to handle it from a younger age.

The third Cohort (term two) of 8 winners of #Rural Great Minds Scholarships came in💃🏻💃🏻! I haven't watched their video yet, but from a few pictures I've looked at so far, Adrian and Vannessa (knew faces) have captured my attention🥰. I'm happy we got some re-shuffles this time👏🏼! Ben (not-knew face) smiles a lot, so I added him by default. I noticed about four other pupils were best again, which is good😊. I hope we get more knew faces next term (term three)🤗🤗.
