Kashmir 192121 by ML Ramnarain Perfumers is a saffron-rose-sandal accord with the top note of Saffron accented by Safranal and/or Safraleine to create the starting pungent punch. When the pungent part mellows, you can smell the beautiful rose attar, so perfect and soothing, but still with the spicy and metallic counterpart of Saffron. And the last part you could find (after hours) is some mild Sandalwood with clean Musks. There're so many modern rose-saffron chypres and orientals, and the attar made me wonder how old the accord is, when it was created, and how it made its way to European perfumery. The lasting power of Kashmir 192121 is incredible and the sillage is rather good - actually, it's the last thing you should worry about when dealing with any attar.
