This is a channel about an old (middle aged) man kicking. He is just trying to stay in shape and likes to kick.
My videos will show kicks from my Shotokan karate and taekwondo background that I still use in my training in my 50s. My priorities in my training and my workouts are to promote my overall fitness, balance, coordination, flexibility, mobility, agility, quickness, speed, and strength. I also train to promote my overall physical and mental health and well-being.
I discuss issues related to training, especially in your 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. I also discuss ways to practice martial arts safely with a focus on the longevity of your martial arts practice. And I will tell a few stories along the way - some of them are funny!
