Sidney Sussex College is one of the 31 constituent Colleges of the University of Cambridge. Founded on Valentine's Day, 1596 by Lady Frances Sidney, 'Sidney' has a distinguished history which is apparent in its buildings, extensive gardens and members, past and present, which include politicians and statesmen, four Nobel Prize winners, wartime code breakers, Grammy Award-winning musicians, film and opera directors, novelists and TV personalities.
Today, students find themselves part of a thriving close-knit community, where academic excellence, motivation and participation are highly valued. This is a place where students feel at home and make friends forever.
