NASA's SpaceX Crew-7 Launches to International Space Station
An international crew of four representing four countries successfully launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The crew consists of NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov.
The Crew-7 mission is the seventh commercial crew rotation mission for NASA. The Dragon spacecraft was launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at NASAโs Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The crew will conduct more than 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations during their mission. These experiments will help us to better understand the human body in space, develop new technologies for future space exploration, and improve life on Earth.
The Crew-7 mission is a testament to the power of international cooperation. The crew represents four countries, and their work will benefit people all over the world.
