It’s easy to vilify the fossil fuel industry for the harm they have caused ecosystems, humanity, and the climate, but a little less convenient to recognize all the benefits they have given us over the last 250 years. I’m in no means arguing for the continued dependence on this ecologically abysmal resource, but I’m curious: do you think fossil fuels have caused humanity more harm or more good?
