Nearly 50% of the doubts Muslims feel are caused by moral arguments against Islam.
So although they try to make it appear as if they are not bothered by Muhammad & Aisha, Quran 4:24 / Dawud 2150, Quran 4:34, ECT, deep down inside their faith is shaken to bits over it. They save face and say "I believed in Islam before this, and I still believe in Islam after this!" When @apologeticsroadshow was engaging with Nabeel Qureshi (when he was still Muslim), Nabeel did the same thing. When his doubts were at their peak, he'd become more OUTWARDLY confident in Islam. Deep down though, his confidence in Muhammad's non-existent prophethood was dwindling.
So, when engaging Muslims in dialogue, it's most important to of course know your own Christian faith and how to defend it, but when critiquing Islam - know 2 things - the Islamic dilemma, and moral issues with Muhammad.
