📚✨ Manchester (UK) Teachers / Librarians... I Need Your Help! ✨📚
Hi friends! I've got this really exciting idea for Black History Month (UK) this October and would love to partner with a Manchester high school (ideally a class between Years 9-12).
It involves giving away books (yes, by yours truly 🤭)📦📖, bookish goodies 🎁, and celebrating diverse storytelling in a fun and impactful way. I do have a limited number sadly 😥 📦📖 (enough for one class), but I still think we could do something great!
I’ve reached out to a local initiative, but I thought I’d also ask here as you all are my community:
So...
• Do you work in a Manchester school?
• Or know someone (teacher, librarian, literacy lead) who might be interested?
I’d love to make this a joyful but still impactful way to celebrate Black History Month and give students a chance to fantasy rooted in diverse storytelling traditions.

My faith-rooted fantasy has somehow become (dark) faith-rooted fantasy 🫠🫠😂 I took my 40K word draft and started from scratch because I felt something was missing. Now, at 7,000 words, it has gone completely LEFT 😭😭
Of course, the hope is getting ready to come down on them like a fiery storm, but it'll be a wild ride before then.

So…a lot of you have kindly (and repeatedly, lol) mentioned: the volume in my videos is sometimes fighting for its life. 😭
First - yes, I see your comments! Even though I haven’t been super active in replying lately, please know I do read them, and honestly, they mean the world. Your support and feedback help me grow this channel, and I’m always listening (even when the mic isn’t, apparently 😂).
I’m actively working on getting a better mic setup so we can finally fix the audio situation for good. But real talk? Decent mics are expensive, and right now I’m juggling a few financial priorities. I might even set up a GoFundMe or something to help with channel upgrades. If that’s something you’d be open to, let me know!
