How to fix no internet connection issue on Mi Box S & Mi TV Stick (system update)
To fix this issue, all we have to do is update the system version of your device.
But the problem is, we canāt update the system version because there is no internet connection, even if connected to the WiFi.
Follow this step on how to update your device to fix the issue.
(1) Go to āsettingsā, then ādevice preferencesā, then ādate and timeā. Set the āautomatic date and timeā to āoffā, then manually set the date.
(2) Connect your device to the WiFi and check if there is an internet connection.
*** NOTE: If there is still no internet connection, try to factory reset your device. Then setup and connect your device to the WiFi, then follow the next step.
(3) Go to āsettingsā, then ādevice preferencesā, then āaboutā, then āsystem updateā (download the latest system update to fix the bug issue).
(4) After you update your device. Go to āsettingsā, then ādevice preferencesā, then ādate and timeā. Set the āautomatic date and timeā to āuse network-provided timeā.

How to fix a date and time issue (no internet connection)
1. Make sure that the automatic date and time are enabled (set to "Use network-provided time").
2. Enable USB debugging.
** To enable USB debugging,
Go to Settings >> Device Preferences >> About >> Build >> Press the OK button untilĀ the message prompt says, "You are now a developer." >> Then press BACK >> Developer Options >> USB Debugging >> Allow / Ok
3. On your smartphone, download the ADB Shell app from the Play Store.
4. Open the ADB shell,Ā then type the IP address of your device, and the port is defaulted at 5555.
Allow access prompt on your device upon connecting.
** To get the IP address of your device,
go to Settings >> Network & Internet >> Connected network >> IP address.
NOTE: Make sure your device and your smartphones are connected to the same network.
Ā 5. Type "adb shell settings put global ntp_server asia.pool.ntp.org"
To verify that the ntp is in asia, type "adb shell settings get global ntp_server"
Must return asia.pool.ntp.org
6. Restart your device.
7. Disable the developer options.
** To disable the developer options, Go to settings >> Device Preferencea >> Disable developer options
8. To test your device, just unplug it and plug in the power adapter. If the date and time are automatically updated, it means your device is working properly.
** If not, try to factory reset your device, then repeat the process again.

Instruction Guide:
1. Get a micro SD card.
2. Format it with your computer in FAT 32.
3. Copy the ātf_recovery.imgā or ātf_update.imgā file to your micro SD card card (extract the rar file first, to get the img file).
4. Switch off your Mi Home Security Camera.
5. Insert the micro SD card into the card slot.
6. Switch it on.
7. If the firmware version works, the camera should start booting up and have its yellow LED turn blue in 2-3 minutes.

How long does the camera's battery last?
