David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) in Uburu is now offering free kidney dialysis for Ebonyi and neighboring states—relieving patients from huge hospital bills!
But that's not all. DUFUHS is also at the forefront of medical research with centers for cancer studies, a top-notch optometry and ophthalmology department, and even a glasses production facility. Since the federal takeover in 2022, the university has grown from 200 to 2,400 students and is only getting bigger!
