A slightly late but very big thank you to all of you for helping this channel recently pass 50,000 subscribers!
When I started making these videos, I never imagined they would reach this many people. I genuinely can't overstate the impact this channel, and the privilege of sharing stories from around the world, has had on my life, and itโs now given me the opportunity to work on YouTube full-time. So every time you watch, like, comment or share, you help keep the project going!
P.S. A few of you have asked how else you can support the channel. If you've enjoyed my documentaries and want to help keep them independent, I have just launched a Patreon:
www.patreon.com/TieranFreedman
If you sign up, you'll get access to ad-free versions of my videos and might even see your name in the credits!
But no pressure, all my documentaries will always be free to watch with ads on YouTube. Patreon simply helps cover travel, gear and production so I can keep the stories coming.
Whether you join there or just keep watching here, thank you so much for your support!

Hi everyone, I had to take down the original upload due to a copyright issue with the music (a license I didn't realise had expired). I'm reuploading the video now.
If you watched the first one already, thank you so much! If you could watch and share this new version when it's up, it really helps keep the channel going.
Thank you!

For the past five years, I've been cycling around the world in search of stories, from the eye-opening, to the bizarre, to the inspiring. Along the way, I've interviewed local people in 20 different countries to better understand their cultures and, in turn, my own.
Cycling the world shows you a side of countries and cultures that most travellers never get to appreciate. From 2018-19, with almost no cycling experience, I got my hands on a bike, flew it to Northern Norway, and cycled 6,000km through 11 countries to Azerbaijan. Though the physical and psychological challenge was overwhelming at times, I found motivation in the people I met on the road, the stories they had to tell, and the kindness of strangers who helped me along the way.
I've now cycle toured over 15,000km, and interviewed dozens of local people along the way!
