Hello my Laddus!š
How many times have we all heard this - āIt is time to become serious!!ā, āNo time for being playful, adulting is serious business!ā
Somewhere along the way, people around us told us to āgrow upā and āstop being sillyā and slowly we have let the inner child in us die. Whereas this inner child holds the torch of creativity and playfulness - the very things that brighten up life and put a smile on our faces.š Wouldnāt it be a pity to lose that precious smile in the name of āgrowing upā and ābecoming seriousā?
Here are 3 things I do to keep my inner child thriving and my adult-self smiling:šāāļø
1. Be a little sillyš: As adults weāve all been told to do a certain things, not do a few things, follow rules and so on. But every now and then, I indulge in a bit of harmless silliness to not take my self too seriously and keep the little Anita alive. It truly is liberating!
2. Dance like no oneās watchingš: You know kids donāt need any function or occasion to dance. They just dance to the rhythm of the music as soon as they hear it. I love doing the same thing too. Moving the body to my favourite music keeps me happy and child-like.
3. Laughingš¤£ and cryingš my heart out: You know kids love to express their emotions. The beauty of it - they are very natural when they do this. They express the emotion and move on. As adults we tend to live both pain and happiness half heartedly. As I have started my spiritual practices, I have mindfully started to express both pain and pleasure whole heartedly and rejoice in both. This has helped me to not hold on to any of it and be absolutely free!

My top tips for Goal settingšÆ
Have you started with your goal setting excercise or have you just been focusing on making sure all the festive sweets are eaten? š (No shame, Iām doing both if I am being honest š)
To set you up for the best 2 months of the year (this month & next), I am going to share some of my tips on how I do my goal setting. So here it goes -
1. Visualise and Materialise: Yes baby, you can only materialise what you can visualise. Iāve long been setting goals for myself, visualising what the end outcome looks likeāØļø. Those whoāve been following me for a while mustāve seen my vision boards. (Here is the link to one of the older ones - happy to say all those goals have come true). So start writing/drawing/painting your end goal.āļø
2. Count and Account:š¬ What has absolutely been life changing is to have an accountability partner. It can be your life partner, friend, close family member or anyone who you trust. Make this person set a goal of themselves and voila! Youāre both set to smash your goals together. Keep in mind, this person can literally make things difficult for you if you miss out on a particular day š
3. Reward is an award:š Donāt be too hard on yourself. Have small rewards that you award yourself every once in a while. This will help you stay the course and maintain the discipline. Mine - dark chocolate or a nice massage for bigger goals!
4. Pedal to medal:š
Consistently pedal your way to the finish line. Itās a marathon baby, so continue your streak and feel the power of momentum coming your way. Make it a success by showing up everyday
5. Look up, but donāt give up: Look up towards the heavens or towards someone who inspires you, but donāt give up! Youāve got this baby, Iām cheering you on š
What are some of the ways that work for you? Iām looking forward to read all your responses!

DONāT Wait for the New Year to start THIS!
Hello my laddus!
Are you enjoying the lights and love that this festive season is bringing?š§”
Iām loving every second of itš¤
As the beautiful festival of light comes to a close, I wanted to remind you of something.
Do you remember, how on a beautiful January morning at the start of this year you made yourself a promise?
A new year resolution to become healthy, or eat better, or workout?
How are you doing on that, my laddu?
Well, in 55 days we have the new year coming upon us and now is a great time to act on those promises.
You know itās easy to wait for that Monday, or that new year but if you really want to make the most of it, every day is a new year for youš§”
So before the transition to winter happens, letās start working on our goals.
Letās take this time of transition to reflect, recaliberate and reorient.
Today, let us spend half an hour to see what best we can do to smash our goals in the next 2 months and come 2025, youād be thanking yourself for a 2 month head-startš§”
Come on my darling, Iām cheering for youā

This One Diwali Tradition Will Light Up More Lives This Year!š
Hello laddus!!
How are you all doing?š¤
Diwali celebrations are in full swing! The house has been cleaned, lights have been installed and yessss, we are attending our own version of Sattvic Diwali partiesš Have I told you I love festivals? Haha, of course I have, my dear!
Today I wanted to share an idea with you. This Diwali, whatever you are doing - do for 1 person extra. For example, if youāre making Diwali sweets for your family of 4, make it for 5. If youāre buying new clothes, buy for 1 person extra. If you canāt buy or make extra, you can take out a little money or a little something and keep it aside. And when the time comes you can give these sweets/food/clothes/money to that security guard uncle who stays up in the night watching your society, to the young lady who collects your garbage every day so that your house stays clean, to that little kid playing at a construction site where his mom is working hard to earn the daily wage to feed her family.
My cutie, time and again, Iāve come to realise how blessed and lucky we are to have been leading this life. Chances are, you are reading this on a smartphone or a laptop and you have internet connection, so you like me are super blessed. Of course we have our share of hardships, but wonāt it be wonderful if everyone gets to celebrate festivals like Diwali? For those 4 hours, everyone deserves to see the light, and what better, you get to light the lamp of happiness in their lifeš§”
Iāve put together gift bundles containing sweets, eats, personal care items, clothes and money for house helps, security guards and other people I meet in the society - and I honestly love seeing their faces light up when they receive this - why? Because this lights up my face and heart!
Iām sure most of you give back to the community already, and this Diwali I would love for all of us to celebrate this beautiful day with everyone around usš§”
Do share pictures and your thoughts on celebrating Diwali, I love reading all your msgsš§”
