A good illustration of the enormous amount of money richer parents are giving their children to buy property. £180k is the AVERAGE for the top 10%, the top 1% will be giving enormously more.

THIS is why you and your children cannot buy property - you are being outcompeted by very rich families - who pay lower tax rates than you!!
