Visionary Nurse®️ Daily Dose of Vision//Season Shifts
Though we fully know that seasons change in the natural, and there is a constant cycle of changes throughout life — some even predictable and expected — when a season shifts in our personal lives, relationships, and vision, it can still often take us by surprise or shock — both positively and negatively.
Maybe the unexpected ending of a relationship, sudden job change, or even the unexpected expansion and growth of a project or task occurs. Maybe a contract you didn’t expect to establish is suddenly given a second thought. Maybe a move you weren’t expecting is suddenly the best option.
In it all, these season shifts in our lives and visions can sometimes leave us disoriented and even unsettled in our next steps, even when we previously had crystal clear clarity.
Regardless of these moments in our vision, dreams, and goals, I encourage you to have grace with yourself in the moments where everything may be in flux, in transition, or unsettled. It’s okay to need a moment to evaluate (or re-evaluate) your next steps and even current connections or involvement. Some of that evaluation may suggest a letting go, moving on, or switching directions. Other moments may require you to hang tight and continue to press into the discomfort the season changes may bring.
In whatever season change you may find yourself in:
💡Seek godly counsel and wisdom
💡Know that your value is not determined by your temporary/current circumstances
💡Recognize that you (and your vision) are needed in whatever season you find yourself in
And, of course, may you dare to be influentially visionary!
