This channel started as a result of the unending requests i was getting from my non-Tsonga friends to teach them my home language. I started with one video and thought that would be all they needed but people kept asking for more, which at times i wasn't able to deliver but i am glad that it has become easier for me now to respond to the call for help from people to help them with Xitsonga. I am not the best Xitsonga speaker there is in the world but my aim is to help people with what i know, enhanced with a bit of research. So i really hope people find value in the content that i create.
This channel helped me develop passion for teaching about my culture and heritage. It exposed me to people who so passionately want to learn about my culture and language and that came as a serious shock because i never thought people were interested in my culture and language. So that is why i do not only teach the language but try and teach about our culture and roots.
