I know, the Year 2025 is almost over but hey: Happy New Year Everybody! 😜
I'm still taking a little winter break since my new year started very stressful and i haven't had the time and nerves to create new content. But now everything seems to calm down (finally) so that i can focus better.
I wanna take the opportunity to thank all my viewers for the amazing support in 2024. Let's continue to create a friendly place for everybody who's into music and don't forget to make some noise in 2025!

Do you want your videos to be free food for AI companies?
Well, there's a new option in the channel settings, where you can allow exactly that. Fortunately it's "opt-in" so you have to manually activate it. But better have a look.
I personally recommend to forbid the AI use of your content, because these companies are already stealing way too much from creative people.

Hi Guys, i'm trying something new.
Over the last 10 months i released my videos more or less randomly without a fixed plan. I want to change that to a more reliable schedule...
So, from now on i will release a new video every Monday, plus optional spots on Thursday or Friday for Shorts or spontaneous stuff. Let's see how it turns out...

Thanks for watching “The Ground Noise”. I am Markus, a musician who played the drums in Bands for like 25 years and started to write music in the 1980s.
For the last 20 years I worked as a drum teacher, telling kids, teenagers and adults all about double-stroke rolls, paradiddles and how to let music be a satisfying part of their life.
In 2009 I finally started to take producing and releasing my music more seriously, releasing 10 albums and a number of EPs and single tracks since then. Please read the Show Notes of any video for more information.
