for those wondering, star world is still a thing. I go through streaks of streaming development daily on discord for several hours. currently intending to get out a demo with all the levels from the first hub area. no eta, just whenever. not too much left to do for the demo, but also hard to predict how long things take. my health still seems to be fine for now, too.

Update on health situation: for the time being, I feel totally fine, maybe just a bit worn out. Unless/until the cancer grows back to a significant extent, I can expect to have few, if any symptoms. Basically, there are 3 groups I could end up in for the outcome of this form of brain cancer:
1 - people who get unlucky and it grows back fast, which could kill in around 5 years or less. Or who die from treatment
2 - people who live around 15-20 years, give or take. This is the majority of people
3 - people who get lucky and it doesn't grow back, or is so slow growing that it never kills them
I am undecided right now on whether to go ahead with radiotherapy, but leaning against it. After some thought, the risks it poses of ruining my brain or outright killing me (sometimes kills you years later from necrosis or causing worse cancers) outweigh the fairly nonspecific benefits I might gain. I had a very extensive and successful resection, so I figure maybe I should just take my win and run with it.
I have attached some images of my brain. The top left image is my tumor before the operation. The top right is how much brain was removed, in roughly the same position. The cavity will appear larger on my next scan, since it is swollen here. The two images on the bottom are just from other levels of my brain where a lot was removed. The random white and black splotches are blood and other such products.
