Henrik Olsson, better known as Ooyy, is a Swedish composer and producer specialising in electronic, house music. As a child, Henrik learned a variety of instruments including drums, guitar and piano, but it wasnât until he began experimenting with FL Studio and midi keyboards that he really started to discover his sound.
Whilst studying at university, Henrik diversified his knowledge of music, listening to and drawing inspiration from a variety of genres including ambient, indie, metal, electronic and house. It was also here that he developed a unique way of generating musical inspiration; on one computer screen he controls his music project and on the other he has a chosen picture to collect the right âvibes and feelingsâ to âcreate and sculptureâ his sound.
In 2018, Henrik released three EPs - âGenesisâ, âFuture Yellowâ and âFadedâ - alongside the single âGanjaâ, which featured as the soundtrack for H&Mâs collaboration with the Swedish Olympic team for the 2018 winter games."
