Thinking of starting a garden but don't know where to start, please consider these tips:

1 - Start small - It's easy to get overwhelmed with a large garden, so start small and focus on a few plants or a small area. As you gain experience, you can expand your garden.

2- Plan ahead - Before you start planting, research the plants you want to grow and make sure they are suitable for your climate and soil conditions. Consider factors such as light, water, and temperature requirements.

3 - Prepare / Improve your soil - Proper soil preparation is essential for healthy plants. Test your soil to determine its pH level and nutrient content, and amend it as needed.

4 - Choose the right plants - Select plants that are well-suited to your region, and choose varieties that are known to be hardy, disease-resistant and are not favorites of rabbits, deer and other pests that can potentially damage them.

5 - Watering - Establish a regular watering schedule, and make sure to not over-water or under-water your plants.

6 - Use mulch - Mulch helps to retain moisture in the soil, suppress weeds, and keep the soil temperature consistent.

7 - Fertilize - Use a balanced fertilizer to provide your plants with the nutrients they need. Adding compost and bone meal are great organic alternatives.

8 - Control pests and diseases - Learn to recognize and manage common pests and diseases, and take action as soon as you notice a problem.

9 - Prune, Harvest and maintain - Regular pruning / harvesting and maintenance will keep your plants healthy, encourage new growth, and improve the overall appearance and bounty produced by your garden.

10- Have patience - Gardening is a long-term investment. Be patient with your plants, it will take time for them to mature and give you their full bounty.

**BONUS TIP**

Dont be afraid to fail, It is important to remember that failure is an inevitable and valuable part of the learning process. Rather than fearing failure, embrace it as an opportunity to grow and learn.

The greatest lessons and personal growth often come from overcoming challenges and failures
