Dr. Frank King is an Associate Professor at UW-Platteville. He has a PhD in Americans Studies from Washington State University. He has been teaching at the college level since 2007, having taught various subjects relating to English, History, American Studies, Ethnic Studies. His areas of interest/research are Black History, Ethnic Studies, Criminal Justice, Hip Hop Pedagogy, Political Economy, and Afrocentric Philosophy.
This channel was created as a result of Covid-19 to ensure students have access to lecture notes. It is evolving into an accessible channel, open to anyone interested in understanding how systems of oppression work to ensure racial hierarchies. The information provided will be based on sound academic work from individuals with expertise in fields that challenge systemic oppression.
