TODAY, I found this review on AMAZON from Kat K. She purchased my book "Thriving with Rheumatoid Arthritis"!
Thank you so much, KAT, and I am glad it resonates with you!
"I don’t have RA, but an autoimmune disease that is similar to RA and lupus. UCTD. Since I was diagnosed with my disease, my biggest problem has been health anxiety. Dr. Girnita has a chapter on stress. I made a beeline for that chapter and haven’t stopped reading since. I read some to my husband and actually teared up. It’s difficult to explain to people who do not suffer from anxiety how it feels to have a panic attack. And the link between anxiety and disease that she explains is fabulous.
Other chapters include your gut health, exercise, rest, different medication‘s and supplements, she has a chapter called the power of community, which is great for lonely people who may feel very isolated.
I also watched Dr. Girnita on YouTube and find a lot of her videos very helpful. She definitely gives me hope.
Highly recommended for people with these types of autoimmune diseases. Lots of helpful tips. I’m currently looking into mindfulness."
