It's nice to be driving a Peoria Charter coach again. My favorite kind of coach no matter who the manufacturer is. You don't have to be far away from home to find interesting places. My group is visiting the Beckman institute building at the University of Illinois. Don't quote me on this but someone once told me one of the world's DNS servers is located here.

Today I drag races motorcoaches and got to drag race a articulated transit bus vs motorcoach. I also got to try and rear end a car to test MCIs automat adaptive braking. I did everything I was taught not to do when behind the wheel of a coach bus. I loved every second of it.

Hanging out at MCI in Winnipeg Canada. What a awesome factory tour. They are taking me out to the test track and we are going to spend the afternoon drag racing coaches. All electric Vs Diesel. Let the bus races begin.

There were some stressful moments during this trip. There were some frustrating moments.
But the excitement of the adventure and the good times we had on this trip far outweighed the bad.

This is our last full day with the coach as we pulled into Gainesville Florida for the night.

We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and enjoyed some dinner at a waffle house next to the hotel.

We left the coach at a charging spot next to the Target which is just down the street from our hotel.

The charger is here are much modern compared to the ones we've seen and they are in good condition. We plugged in the coach and the charger started charging at a really good rate.

Unfortunately during dinner the charger stopped charging on its own. I suspect it was unplugged deliberately from a guy in electric vehicle that got annoyed with us for pulling a giant bus into the charging station.

Tomorrow morning between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. eastern time we will be pulling into ABC company's headquarters in Winter garden Florida 90 some miles away from our current hotel in Gainesville Florida.

I can truly say that I am honored to have met all the wonderful people we encountered during this trip as well as all the awesome scenery and places we got to visit.

It took a lot of people to make all this happen from the wonderful team at ABC, to Bill and Cindy Winkler at Peoria charter,
And last but not least Dennis Michael driver his wife Tracie, and my wife Lidiya Wang.

Everyone pulled some long days and long nights whether they were riding on the coach or monitoring us from ABC or following behind us to make sure that we had support when we ran into problems.

After asking Dennis and his wife Tracy and my wife and my kids if they would do this again? Everybody responded Yes without hesitation.

This is a trip and the milestone I will never forget.

What an opportunity this was and I am truly grateful.

I can't wait to get to ABC tomorrow and then hit universal studios and have a day of fun with my family.

And finally I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again at home.

Stay tuned for the finish line crossing tomorrow morning as I will live stream our arrival.

This bus has become our home away from home and I'm going to miss her when we give her back to ABC van Hool.

Oh and one more thing... When we leave tomorrow we won't have to do any more charging.... Ever...
I've learned so much.

Almost done charging in Tallahassee Florida. The charger here charged fast and didn't give us any issues.

Jeff from ABC arrived ahead of us to help us secure a end of the line spot so that we didn't block any spaces while we charged.

We enjoyed some Thai food and Italian ice while hanging out here in Tallahassee.

Another 2 hours and 9 minutes drive to Gainesville where we are staying the night.
Tomorrow we cross the finish line and arrive at ABC companies headquarters in Winter garden Florida.
The plan is to be there by 10:00 a.m..

I will be live streaming when we pull into ABC.

This will be such an accomplishment once we get to the end.

His crossing our fingers at our last charge for this trip in Gainesville tonight will not be troublesome.
