Well Hello everyone, not been around much with work/family commitments, so apologies for that.
As were now into the 2022 nesting season, I'm hoping this year we will see a nest again the box. 2020 nesting started on 16/04, sadly in 2021 the nestbox remained empty :(
So at the time of this message we have 23days, until the date that nestbuilding began in 2020, I still have the upgraded camera in the box & I have been getting motion detection email notifications, mainly a pair of Blue Tits & Pair of Great Tits, So it's just a waiting game now.
I do keep getting asked about the feeders coming back, but I am afraid to say, unless I get the chance to buy my first house, then they wont be coming back sadly.
So thanks for taking the time to read this & I have made the nestbox stream public again, in the hope we get some action in it this year, I have put the link below to it.

Best Regards
Dave

Hello everyone, Im afraid I have some bad news. Due to rodents returning I have no choice to end the feeders. I mentioned this issue in my original post about 8 months ago, when I was looking into bringing them back. I would like to thank all the Moderation team and subscribers that took the time to participate in the feeder stream, but its a decision I have to take and I hope you can understand. I will reuse the camera to restart the skycam in due course once I have sorted everything out.

As their is no nest this year by the looks of it. I want your views on using the cam from the nestbox to bring the skycam back, is their any chance of still getting a nest this year?
Or leave the camera as is & fund a new camera like what's already in the nest box, this option would take a couple of months to do though as its £150.
Poll will run until 10am on 16/05

Hello Everyone, I had to stop streaming the SkyCam due to the cost. To stream it, in electricity it was costing £19.23 per month, So I have to look into getting a new camera so I dont need to use a computer. I am looking into a camera that is the same as is in the nestbox but the initial cost is £150, with a permonth streaming cost of £0.76, so a massive decrease in electricity costs! As soon as I can afford the camera cost, the skycam will come back without weather graph overlays. But it will take a couple of months to get the funds together.

Hey Guys, just a quick update for the birdbox. Took it offline yesterday to take it down and treat the outside and get it to blend in with the tree. Heres a photos of it finished and drying after 2 coats of dark oak treatment.
