Several people asked about the layout for the quilt I showed in my recent short. It is constructed just like the Irish Chain I did a while back but with some different components--2x2 blocks as well as 2x3 blocks. Here is the layout!

I made a small update to the Curvy Layer Cake PDF just now--just adding the 1" registration block to the templates to make sure they print at the right size. Nothing else significant changed!
Thank you to everyone for all the support in my slow reentry into videos :). Its been amazing to get back to work and I feel so grateful being able to take the time to work through the burnout!

Hi Everyone!! I'm still here!! I've gotten a few lovely emails from people wondering where I've been.
Summer is always a bit difficult around here with my kids home. For those that don't know, I have two kids with special needs and that makes the summers long and difficult as I become primary caregiver without a lot of time for myself or work. This summer has been particularly rough for a variety of reasons (its sooooooo hot!) and I haven't sewn in weeks.
The bright side to all of this is that I've been sketching and dreaming of all the quilts I want to make as soon as August hits and our normal school schedule resumes! I can't wait to share them all with you :)
I'll be back soon with videos--hopefully in the next few days! I'm editing one right now while I have a little time to myself.

Im all packed for Quiltcon! I didn’t upload a video today since I’ve been so busy packing and finishing up some behind the scenes work.
I was getting a little burnt out there trying to do weekly videos so I’ll probably be taking off every 3rd or 4th week for a while. I’ll be back next week though with a quiltcon vlog!

As always, they are free! I get a lot of emails about needing to check out or pay for the patterns. You have the option of leaving it a tip and it is much appreciated but not required. You can go through the checkout process without putting in any payment information.

Yikes! Technical error on the newest video, so I've pulled it down to fix the audio. Part of the audio had been accidentally moved so it was doubled up in one area and then silent in another.

It’s fall break around here! That means lots of time hanging out with my kids and catching up with binding quilts. What’s in your binding kit? This is mine—all in a little stainless bento box. It’s kind of a mess at the moment as I’ve been using it a lot!!
