The International Network of Women in Politics channel features strong voices from women active in politics worldwide!
Equitable participation of women in politics and government is essential for building and sustaining democracy. Although they comprise over 50 percent of the world’s population, women continue to be under-represented as voters, political leaders and elected officials. Against this backdrop, the International Knowledge Network of Women in Politics (iKNOW Politics) - a four partners project by International IDEA, IPU, UNDP and UN Women - was created to advance women in politics worldwide.
