It's been ages since I last worked on this gem, and it's astonishing how quickly time has passed. Currently, it's doubling as a makeshift storage shelf in my garage—quite the sight! Interestingly, its value has been appreciating with each day it remains parked. Lately, I've been wrapping up various home improvement projects to enhance my family's living space, but now, it's time to reignite my passion for working on one of my all-time favorite cars. They simply don't craft them like this anymore.
In the past, I've had the pleasure of building a few Eleanors, purely as a hobby. However, the notorious Eleanor lawsuit saga forced me to pause these endeavors. Now, with those legal battles behind us, I'm thrilled to embark on creating another Eleanor, unfettered by past constraints. This build will diverge slightly from the iconic "Gone in 60 Seconds" Eleanor, ensuring it's not only unique but also tastefully customized. I'm excited for you all to follow along on this build. Let's make it unforgettable!

The Honda odyssey needs a quick little make over, Maintnance stuff, full detail, clean and polish and send her to a new home since we don’t really need a minivan and an SUV right now. Some of the $$ can be used towards the F350 and the Eleanor.

Dash was covered with ABS lights, traction control, cruise control, blind spot assist, adaptive cruise, airbag light, parking brake light…. I tried to clear everything and it just kept coming back. All because a fork lift busted a cable.

Wiring harness finished, all the brackets and sensors bells and whistles Installed, along with a 5,000lb hitch to pull an 8,000lb f350 around haha.

Wanted to replace the whole harness but that thing goes way too far, likely all the way to the firewall. Luckily I soldered a couple wires on the F350 and I’m old enough to put 2 same colors together ..

I usually don’t care on posting about tools that I got, but sometimes if it’s cheap and it works good and it’s currently on sale on amazon I don’t mind sharing it. This one runs on a Milwaukee battery, they have a yellow one for a dewalt battery and I’m sure they have a makita version but I didn’t look. Here is a link enjoy!!

My name is Nick, I love making car mod and repair videos of different vehicles. All of the vehicles i work on are my own, eventually if i sell something i keep an eye out for something else to fix and mod. I owned everything from imports to muscle cars, classic mustangs and newer mustangs, ford truck, chevy trucks, ram trucks, toyota trucks etc. My goal is to do everything DIY because its something i enjoy as a hobby and its fun. Im married with 2 kids, who also come out and help me out a little here and there because its fun for them. The goal is to raise 2 gear heads and help me get through their teenage years and actually spend time with them and hopefully with Gods help they will not hate me through their teenage years haha, wish me luck!! God Bless!!
If you would like to me to a review of something car related, or some aftermarket parts that i can install and do a honest review sent me an email.
