Yes, we have physical and intellectual limitations. We shouldn't be so unrealistically optimistic that we don't see this. BUT... we too often have the exact opposite bias - we tell ourselves everyday that we "aren't this or that sort of person" or "couldn't possibly do this or that thing".
Personal identity is something we are building everyday, and if we aren't challenging our own assumptions about what we can do, we'll for sure never see that beautiful view from the top of that mountain.

Too many of us wrongly believe that we can find our purpose, build our dream life, and discover our core values by simply getting inside our own mind and thinking about it.

One of the greatest lessons I've ever learned is NOT to take our health for granted. If you can take in a deep breath of air, go for a hike in the wilderness, enjoy a moment as you see here without pain or anxiety, or any number of other things, then you are someone many people yearn to be.
But so many of us DO take it for granted: we find excuses not to exercise, we eat everything we know we shouldn't, we don't engage in activities for stress reduction, and we generally trash our bodies.
The REASON we love to do everything we love to do with everyone we love to do it with is the SAME reason we should do everything we can to preserve the very health we take for granted.
