Rajendranagar Police organized an awareness conference on the occasion of World Drug Day in Veterinary College under Rajendranagar circle.
Rajendranagar Zone DCP CH Srinivas Palgoni as the chief guest of this program gave awareness to the students in all ways about drug abuse, illegal trafficking.
All students are advised to stay away from drugs.
They vowed not to ruin their lives by being addicted to drugs.

Today i.e. on 26-06-2024 GRP Secunderabad District destroyed about 1,575 Kgs of Ganja seized in (52) Cases worth rupees 4 Crores at Romo Industries, Turkapur Village, Bhongir.
The following are the details;
*1)Secunderabad Urban- (579 Kgs in 22 Cases worth Rs.1,44,75,000/-).*
*2)Secunderabad Rural- (98.68 Kgs in 5 Cases worth Rs.24,50,000/-).*
*3)Khazipet Division- (896.70 Kgs in 25 Cases worth Rs.2,24,00,000/-).*
The destroying activity is photographed and videographed as per procudure by the Railway District Secunderabad Drug Disposal Committee Chairman Smt. Chandana Deepti, IPS, Nodal Officer and Member Sri S.N.Jawed, DSRP(U) Secunderabad, Member Sri T. BEGUMPET POLICE ARREST (6) ACCUSED IN MURDER CASE
In Cr.No.441/2024 U/ 120(B), 302, 147, 148, 109 r/w 149 IPC and Sec 25(1)-B(b) Arms Act of PS Begumpet, Begumpet Division, North Zone, Hyderabad. The Begumpet police along with Task force have arrested six (including one juvenile) individuals in connection with brutal Murder case that occurred on June 25, 2024. This incident took place at near Ganesh Mandapam, Old Patigadda, Begumpet. Swift arrest of the accused was effected within 12 hours of the incident.
Brief:
The accused person Mohammed Aijaz and victim Shaik Usman (deceased) both are Childhood friends and reside in the same locality. Two months ago, Aijaz discovered that his sister-in-law Neha and the victim Usman were in a relationship since last one year. Disapproving the same, Aijaz warned Neha and Usman to end their relationship and made them block each other's contact number including meeting in person. Later, when the victim got to know that the Neha's parents were looking for matches to get her married, Usman created Neha's Snapchat fake account and started fake conversations, which led to the cancellation of her match.
Yesterday, around 6:00 PM, while Aijaz was outside, his wife called to inform him that Usman, his brother Hussain, and their mother had quarrelled with her and using abusive language that her son is threatening to hang himself if they don't perform his marriage with Neha. On this accused was upset and proceeded to the house of victim along with other accused persons and confronted Hussain threatening to kill Usman as he felt that their accusations against his sister were maligning her character in the society.
To this end, he conspired with other accused persons namely 1) Mohammed Feroz, 2) Sahil Khan, 3) Mohd Fazal, 4) Mohd. Rasheed to eliminate Usman. At about 11:40 PM, the accused Aizaz and others along with him saw that the deceased was coming along with his sister on Honda Shine bike from Pattigadda Auto Stand. On reaching the Ganesh Mandapam in a rage the accused Aizaz and others stopped the victim's bike and dragged him to the ground and with the others holding the victim down, Aizaz caused grievous fatal injury to the victim's neck with a knife. Later, on hearing the victim's. sister cries, the accused fled from the spot.
