Ive been travelling to a few east asian cities for the past few weeks (will be topics for future videos).

I am posting regular content about what I have seen on my bluesky (@flurfdesign.bsky.social) and instagram (@flurfdesign), like what the bike/transit infrastructure is like in a "small" chinese city!

if you can guess the cities below you get a fortune cookie 🥠

70k subscribers! We now have enough people to fill the entire island of Kauai, Hawaii, a very beautiful island full of chickens.

...now all it needs is a walmart supercenter and a 12 lane highway

LMAO so this group is using fake AI generated "concerned residents" to give testimonials against some new (much needed) bus lanes in Toronto.

To be clear, I think its good to criticize projects like this even if they are inherently "good", but this absolutely destroys any credibility this group has and undermines the actual PEOPLE with legitimate concerns.

If you live in Toronto, most of the public consultations have already past but you can learn about the project at: www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2025/ttc/bgrd/backgrou…

The age of AI is insane lol

Help save bike lanes in Toronto!

The premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, is about to rip out bike lanes on three major streets, destroying a decade of progress and putting people's lives at risk.

This new legislation effectively bans bike lanes across the entire province and exempts new highways from environmental assessment so even if you aren't from Toronto, you should help fight this as well!

Here are some things you can do:

1. Submit a comment on the new bill (closes Nov 20): ero.ontario.ca/notice/019-9266

2. Send a message to Doug Ford and the Minister of Transportation:
correspondence.premier.gov.on.ca/EN/feedback/defau…
www.ola.org/en/members/all/prabmeet-singh-sarkaria

3. Send a message to your MPP (especially if they're PC):
www.ola.org/en/members/current#views-exposed-form-…

Here are some template letters/examples:
alex-oumn.notion.site/Oppose-Bill-212-and-Highway-…

4. Sign the petition by CycleTO:
www.cycleto.ca/ilovebikelanes?utm_campaign=bill_21…

5. Go out and VOTE. When it comes to US elections, Canadians are glued to the screen, but voter turnout in our OWN elections is embarrassingly low.

The Premier of Ontario (Canada's largest province) wants to ban bike lanes on major streets.

Toronto has been dealing with a congestion crisis and his solution.... is to make driving the only viable mode of transportation.

Aside from the fact that he's wrong on every level, and the fact that he is clearly trying to appease suburban voters, the real victims of this ban will be the people who aren't invested in bike lane politics.

Students cycling to their class, workers cycling to their office, friends cycling to the park. The majority of people who don't care about these niche culture war issues and just want to get from point A to B.... will now be put in danger. All because our leaders somehow politicized bicycles.

If you're from Ontario, PLEASE contact your local MPP and tell them to stop this "anti-congestion" law.

Toronto will never fix traffic at this rate.
