Hey there, this post is regarding a couple of things I wanted all of you to know.
Firstly, I know I don't do subscriber milestones on here at all, but 15,000 is a crazy number when you really think about it. So thank you all for tuning into my videos even though there's many issues with them, especially the audio, which I hope to get sorted before the next video comes out.
Secondly, I know videos my videos come out very slow, and that certainly isn't great for the discoverability of this channel, but ever since the "2 years of C" video blew up like crazy, for every video, I try to increment and improve them. Some of it works, some of it doesn't. Most of it is very unnoticeable, but it takes time to plan nonetheless (especially the animations).
Thirdly, The 2024 Handmade Wheel Reinvention Jam is coming up very soon! (23rd Sept - 29th Sept)

Genuinely speaking, the best way to get good at programming is to do tons of projects that *you* enjoy. Whether or not they are relevant, useful, already exist or whatever does not matter, because the innate understanding you get from it is more than worth the time. If you're struggling finding time for doing creative projects I'd recommend participating in a jam like this one.
Last and the least important, I have enabled memberships on this channel. It's nothing crazy expensive I think it's set-up to around 1USD per month, because I don't have much in terms of perks to give back.

Hey there, it's been a while.
For the past 4 months or so I've been working on a pretty large project, which just reached a pretty major milestone.

(Yes that's a custom language running on a DS emulator, and yes it also works on my actual DSI)
