#Cowboys Jerry Jones = King Nebuchadnezzar – A Stubborn Kingdom

1. The Throne and the Ego
Nebuchadnezzar ruled Babylon with unmatched power, building vast monuments to his own glory—most famously the golden image in Daniel 3 that everyone had to bow to. Likewise, Jerry Jones has turned the Dallas Cowboys into his own monument, placing himself front and center in every press conference, every major decision, and even football operations. In both cases, the empire (or franchise) becomes inseparable from the ruler’s personal identity.

2. Stubbornness in the Face of Counsel
Nebuchadnezzar ignored wise counsel from Daniel and the prophets until reality humbled him. Jerry often ignores football counsel from experienced coaches and executives when it conflicts with his vision. For him, it’s not about delegating for the greater good—it’s about proving his way works, even if the results suggest otherwise.

3. The “All About Me” Syndrome
Nebuchadnezzar built a 90-foot statue so all could admire him. Jerry built AT&T Stadium, “The House That Jerry Built,” complete with the world’s largest video board—centered, of course, over the field for everyone to see. In both kingdoms, the leader is the main attraction, and the people (or fans) are constantly reminded whose name is on the marquee.

4. Control Over the Narrative
Nebuchadnezzar dictated the story of Babylon—rewriting history to glorify his reign. Jerry controls the Cowboys’ public image, speaking directly to the media, often overshadowing players and coaches. In both cases, the leader’s voice is the loudest, whether or not it’s the wisest.

5. The Risk of Pride Before the Fall
Biblically, Nebuchadnezzar’s pride eventually led to his humbling. For Jerry, the Cowboys’ decades-long Super Bowl drought stands as a reminder that unchecked ego can stall progress. Yet, like Nebuchadnezzar, Jerry seems determined to prove that only he can bring the empire back to glory—on his terms. watch video on watch page

There are rumors flaring that the Dallas Cowboys have had talks regarding WR Jalen Tolbert and a trade.

To me this makes sense for many reasons. Tolbert has always been that solid WR3 who will make a play when you need it but he doesn’t have a high ceiling at all. The Cowboys are so deep at the WR position that trading Tolbert is emerging to be the better option. There are a few guys with a way higher ceiling than him, Traeshon Holden UDFA, Jonathan Mingo (traded to the Cowboys last season), and Kevontae Turpin (Fastest man in the NFL). Those guys have potential to be a lot better than Tolbert is and can be. They are all having excellent training camps. Holden showcasing his athleticism and ability to make a play, Mingo showcasing his ability to find space, and Turpin’s ability to play wherever Coach Schotty wants and his speed. I think the right move is to let Tolbert go get his reps in somewhere else.

Do you think Tolbert should be traded? watch video on watch page

#Cowboys It’s not the end of the world
but if you’re really about WINNING this season, stop the drama — PAY Micah Parsons, trade for a PROVEN 1-Tech DT (no more experiments), and sign a veteran CB who can start NOW. And media/beat writers
stop bringing up Jourdan Lewis. He’s gone. We had plenty of time to replace him. He’s NOT the last slot corner to ever play in the NFL — move on and get someone who’s here to help THIS team win.
