Halfway through the month of September... my birthday is coming up soon. Anyway, things have kind of settled into somewhat normalcy overall. The doggo is always happy to see me, sleeps a lot while I'm working my day job, and is finally eating all (or nearly all on some days) of her meds, supplements (like for bowel health), and meals. I ran to the store a couple of days ago to buy milk, bread, and a couple of other things. When I returned, she was ecstatic! She was also SLIGHTLY panicked by my having been gone, but she recovered within 5 or 10 minutes. So she's doing really well.
I think I've killed some of my brother's plants, though. I try hard to water them enough each week without overwatering them, but I'm very new to it — I have no plants at my place. So while I have really focused on being careful, I think I've still messed up. :( I guess I'll pay to have plants replaced if need be. At least I haven't killed the pooch.
So this weekend and then just 2 more after that and I'll be back to streaming like usual. I'm looking forward to being back home again and spending time with you all online. I guess I'll end my update for now. Bye, all!

This past week started a bit difficult but has improved greatly in the last half. Their doggie, Kona, was previously mistreated badly before my brother and sister-in-law got her. She hates almost all men other than my brother, me, and my dad, so it's probable one of the previous scumbags had been a man. It's sad to think of what she went through, but now she's happy and full of life... when she's not being lazy and sleeping in her bed. Anyway, she was really shaken when "mom" and "dad" didn't come back with me from the trip to the airport, so she didn't eat anything the rest of that day. But over the course of the week, she's been eating more and more and has gotten over her initial panic attack. I'm happy I'm here for her; even beyond the practical part of it (getting food and water, for instance), there's no way she could be OK being left alone.
Well, we're now about 30% of the way through my time away. I'm loving being here with Kona, and it was awesome to spend some time with family, but I'm already looking forward to being back again so I can spend time with you all! Be safe out there: there's a lot of bad in the world, so try to avoid it as much as you can! Much love, Xexor.

I've been having a nice time with my brother and sister-in-law before they head off for vacation (early next week). As a reminder, I will not be available again until Oct 4–5 unless I indicate otherwise. No streaming THIS weekend for sure. I plan to give periodic updates while I'm away, just so you'll be up-to-date with my life. I should be talking with you all again soon! TTFN.
