On the playlist, there are some new songs off of my and @mansonjono 's "Bootlegger Days!!" album and our 2023 single, "There Ain't No New Kind of Blue." Also featured are some of my more obscure collaborations, with the likes of Gov't. Mule, Steve Cropper of the Blues Brothers, Dolly Parton, CeeLo Green, Gregg Allman (God rest his soul), and many many other awesome bands, artists, and musicians.
So huge kudos and thanks to Spotify! This definitely makes up for the lack of fair royalties.........

Been a tough year for me in terms of physical ailment... First it was Covid pt 2 "the Coviding" in the Midwest in April (at least those got resched)... then food poisoning in May clobbered our gig in Gilroy, CA... Now sadly I've got a throat infection and it finally took out my voice as of last night in Reno... So we are gonna bag the gig tomorrow in Flagstaff, AZ and with the aid of super antibiotics and two days of vocal rest, we will instead head to the Phoenix gig the next day. The worst part is we've been playing really well when we don't throw a rod or blow a gasket... My sincerest apologies to Big Head Todd and his Monsters--who will STILL BE PLAYING TOMORROW (do not wanna bury the lead)--as well as my band (who will have to miss it), and, most of all, the good people of Flagstaff... We'll come see you again.
I promise you, Big Head Todd will rock the house tomorrow... Like he always does!
In the same breath, I'm delighted to announce a BT gig @ Gretna Fest Sunday, Oct 8, 2023 in New Orleans, LA! It's always a fun time down there, as young me and Bobby would tell you... Hope some of you folks would be kind enough to stop by! Lots of great musicians there and we'll try our best to compete.
