An American singer, musician, and actor from Miami, Florida. Jahnathan Nerette was born to Haitian and Jamaican parents.
Growing up, Jahnathan was introduced to a variety of music and art. By the time he turned 12, he began to write lyrics and record demos. After school, Jahnathan would use his father’s laptop to record freestyles over hip hop beats. He kept these recordings to himself, shying away from anyone who would ask him to recite them.
By the age of 15, he was certain that music was what he would be doing with his life. When talent show posters would appear on the school walls, he was the first to sign his name.
Jahnathan hopes to spread nothing but love through his music. He strives to give people the same euphoric feeling he would get when listening to the sounds of James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, Sammy Davis J.R, and all the greats that came before him. He calls his brand Roots Evolution.
