In Sudan, fighting has forced 4.6 million children from their homes, making it the largest child displacement crisis in the world.
In April, violence in Zamzam Camp uprooted nearly half a million people, including 260,000 children. Many witnessed killings, sexual violence, and the destruction of their communities.
Children like 12-year-old Salma have endured unimaginable trauma but with shelter, food, and medical care, hope is still possible.
Weāve been in Sudan since 1983, and we wonāt stop now.

Every day, aid workers risk their lives to protect children in the worldās most dangerous places.
Since 2000, 1 humanitarian worker has been killed, injured, kidnapped or detained every single day.
On #WorldHumanitarianDay, we honor their courage and call for what should be obvious: Humanitarians are NOT a target.

1 in 5 kids in rural America lives in poverty.
Thatās nearly 3 million children missing out on the books, meals, and play every kid deserves.
Weāre here to change that!
We're working in rural communities across 14 states, helping kids get ready for kindergarten, boosting math and reading skills, and ensuring they have a safe place to just be kids. ā¤ļø

In the middle of the night, Eunice grabbed her four children and fled their home in the DRC with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
They spent days hiding in the forest. Hungry, scared, and unsure of what would come next.
At a Ugandan Transit Center, her children finally found safety and a place to play, learn, and begin to heal in our Child Friendly Space.
Help children like Abeba, Kwame, Eva, and Amhale recover from crisis. Donate today.

This #WorldBreastfeedingWeek, weāre shining a light on the reality for mothers in Gaza, who are doing everything they can to keep their children alive.
Mothers are worried about breastfeeding, not because they donāt want to, but because they donāt have the privacy, food or support they need.
Malnutrition, dehydration and relentless trauma are making it nearly impossible for mothers to care for themselves and their babies.
Weāre calling for a ceasefire now and full humanitarian access so mothers can feed, nourish and protect their babies.

Save the Children has a long-standing commitment to ensure that all children grow up with dignity and have their universal human rights upheld.
We stand for every child ā no matter who they are or where they come from.
Our vision is a world where no form of discrimination ā including racism, ableism, xenophobia, or bias based on identity ā limits a childās potential.
We are working toward a future where all children are safe, valued, and free to thrive.
