The Northeast Georgia History Center invites homeschool families to our first Homeschool Day of 2023, Common Threads, on Thursday, January 26th from 10 AM - 1 PM. Come learn about how clothing was made in the 18th and early 19th centuries at home from spinning thread to sewing the final garment and everything in between!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family Day: The Founding of Georgia! Visitors learned about life in the colony of Georgia by meeting General James Oglethorpe, historic demonstrations, hands-on activities, and more.
